Warbird Consulting Partners is seeking an Interim Managed Care/Actuarial Analysis Consultant for an exciting assessment with one of our clients. Our client has requested this type of work for a specific project and has engaged Warbird to find the most qualified consultant for the project. Our client, a community hospital of +200 beds is in a small rural town in a beautiful scenic location on the West Coast.  It  was named one of the best 100 Rural Hospitals and currently has over 1,000 employees.   This Managed Care Financial Analyst will:

  • Provide analysis on the managed care contracts, reimbursement rates, and variances
  • Identify key elements that drive the reimbursement rates
  • Track identity markers through the Managed Care Plans
  • Identify trends
  • Strong data claims analysis / actuarial analysis

Job Requirements

  • +4 years in Accounting/Finance/Analysis roles within a hospital/health plans
  • Strong understanding of financial analysis and reporting statistics/variances through contracts
  • excellent financial/analytical skills
  • Expert to Advance Excel skills
  • Strong writing and verbal communication
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required
  • Ability to work alone to complete analysis and provide time sensitive information to the CFO

This project will have some travel onsite to the West Coast location on a Monday - Thursday schedule.   It's expected to be 3-4 months in length and should have some flexibility for remote weeks (approved by the CFO).
